Katherine Ann McLemore

Katherine Ann McLemore, age 59 of Silas, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on May 25, 1959 to Jack and Kay McLemore in Corvallis Oregon. She was an administrative assistant and office manager for Leon and Johnny Graham at Graham Forestry & Appraisal Services in Butler, Alabama for over 20 years. She was a strong believer in her Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ, her Saviour. Kathy was an active member of Spring Bank Baptist Church in Silas, Al. She was baptized on Feb. 26, 1984, at the age of 25.She is survived by her children, Catie R. Lundy (Zach) of Saraland, Al, her son, Tait Windham5 (Kate) of Trussville, Al and Rebecca Paige Windham of Silas, Al; her grandchildren, Jordyn Ann Windham of Silas, Al, Samara Grace Windham and John Gaines Windham of Trussville, Al, and Gavin Rocco Lundy of Saraland, Al; her sisters, Karen Williams (James) of Silas, Al., Kaylyn Nordan (Ronnie) of Gilbertown, Al. and Kelli Thompson (Terry) of Chatom, Alabama; Her father, Eugene Jackson McLemore, Jr (Jack) of Starkville, Ms.; her nieces and nephews, Shawn Williams (Lori), Angela Carlisle (Jacob), Kyle Lindsey (T-Kaye), Ayrn Owen (Grant), Chase Nordan (Paige) and Dawson Stallworth; her great nieces and nephews, Seth Williams, Trey Williams, Rylee grace Pitts, Jackson Boykin, Maddie Owen, Adalyn Lindsey, Kinley Lindsey and Myles Nordan; her special family, Devoted ex-husband, John Windham and ex-mother-in-law, Helen W. Cleary. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Petromale McLemore; her nephews, Joseph Lindsey and Josh Stallworth; her maternal grandparents, Frank and Catherine Petromale and her paternal grandparents, Gene and Lucy McLemore. Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2019 from 12 pm until 1:30 pm at Spring Bank Baptist Church in Silas, Alabama. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm at the church with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Butler, Al. Tait Windham and Bro. Justin Olvey officiating.
