Vance Lewis Lyvers, age 84 of Irondale, passed away Monday, October 04, 2021. He was retired from Pemco, where he was an Aircraft Mechanic. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Gladys Livers; brothers, JR. Livers, Jessie Livers, Leroy Livers, and Jackie Livers. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lyvers; daughter, Jami Turman (Jesse); sons, Stephen Lyvers (Brianna), Ronnie Lyvers (Dawn), and Van Lyvers; brother, Allen Livers (Kathy); sisters, Ruth Kaiser (Bill), and Jodie Gibson (T.G.); eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 9:30 am in the Deerfoot Memorial Chapel. Family will receive friends beginning at 8:30 am until service time Tuesday. Interment will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery at 11:45 am.
