Selina L. Anderson

April 29, 1962 - June 30, 2021

Selina L. Anderson ("Slanky") ("Weiner") 59, of Glencoe/Moody, Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. The family will receive friends at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home Monday, July 5, 2021 from 12:00PM - 1:00PM the Funeral Service will follow at 1:00PM; Brother Brad Mosley will officiate. There will be no Graveside Services held Burial will be at Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. Selina was a graduate of Glencoe High School in 1980. She was employed by the Social Security Administration. She endured much pain and heartache in her time here on earth but she stood strong and kept the faith. She loved the Lord and was one of the strongest people. Her faith remained even through the darkness and valleys she faced. She was selfless, funny, always doing and caring for others. She was a great daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. But one her greatest titles is being a Child of God, loving wife and mother. She also had a favorite name, being called Ging Ging ("GG"). She loved and absolutely adored her grandchildren, family, friends, Auburn football and a cold coke. Her most favorite thing was being with her grandsons and watching her oldest play sports. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Mike Anderson; daughters, Ashley Anderson and Christen Bristol; Parents Hoyt and Janice Langston; in laws, Edward G. and Sue Anderson; brother in law Donnie Anderson and sister in law Beryl Anderson. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany (Michael) Finney; Grandchildren, Malaki Finney, Phisher Finney, Lauren and Melanie Bristol; Son in law, Jason Bristol, sisters, Debby (Larry) Moon, Kay (Dennis) Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends; Tonyia (Alan) McAlister. Pallbearers will be Jason Bristol, Larry Moon, Cody Robinson, Don Anderson, Nicky Barnard, Dillion Jones Honorary Pallbearers: Malaki and Phisher Finney Please come in casual attire as you know Selina was simple and casual.
