Noah Landers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Our sweet angel, Noah Rollins Landers passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He was born on June 12, 2021 and just recently celebrated his 1st birthday. Noah had a lot of unknowns once born and lived the first 7 months of his life at Children’s of Alabama with the remaining 5 at home. Noah was born with Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome and Hirschsprung’s Disease. He had a very difficult journey and overcame many obstacles during his time in the hospital. He was ventilator-dependent with a tracheostomy, ileostomy, and gastrostomy tube. Noah proved to be a miracle. He was thriving and hitting milestones since coming home from the hospital however he passed unexpectedly. He loved his musical toys, bath time, being tickled, cuddling, peek-a-boo and his brother. He was very smart, willful, and as sweet as can be. He is survived by his parents Josh and Shelbi Landers; brother, Greyson Landers; grandparents, Jeff and Janet Rollins, Phil and Cindy Landers; aunt, Emily Bonds (Bradley); uncle, Nic Landers (Crystal); cousins, Ava, Olivia, Parker, Presley, Jayce, Marissa; Great Grandfathers, Larry Rhodes, Roy Crain, Bill Landers; with a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL. The Chapel service will begin at 11:00 AM with graveside to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL. Reverend Porter Burtram will be officiating. A huge thank you to the NICU and 10 Quarterback at Children’s of AL. You all were a parent to our sweet boy for so long and took amazing care of him. Thank you to all the nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, respiratory therapists, physical, occupational, speech and music therapists, child life, nutritionists, social workers, and PICU staff. Thank you to Dr. Lytle, Dr. Simpson, Dr. Coghill, Dr. Gentle, Dr. Russell, Dr. Alva, Dr. Galloway, Dr. Kulbersh, Dr. Kane, Dr. Marcus, Dr. Kimberlin, and Dr. Wozow. Thank you to Moody Fire Department, Regional Medical Services, and Moody Police Department. And most of all, thank you to our Pulmonary Technology Dependence Program Team (Dr. Simpson, Jim, Julie, and Erica). We cannot thank you all enough. Noah was loved by so many and had a ton of prayer warriors. He has definitely made his impact on everyone’s life in such a short time.
