James Olice Elders, age 76, of Odenville, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. James was a loving husband, father, granddaddy, brother and friend to many. He was w a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He retired from Stockham Valve and Fittings and Brown Mechanical. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Vera Hallmark Elders and a sister, Sandra Little. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice Jeter Elders; his daughter, Melissa (Tim) Hendrix; his son, Darrell (Andrea) Elders; his brother, Danny (Cathy) Elders; his grandchildren, Mallory (Brad) Maharrey, Morgan (Matt Jaeger, Kelsee (Gage) Painter and Baylee Elders; his great grandchildren, Louise Jaeger, Ezra Painter and Thomas Maharrey; and many extended family and friends. A graveside service will be Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church in Pinson, Alabama with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.
