Jackey Bryan McGuire Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jackey Bryan McGuire, age 57 of Springville, AL passed away Saturday April 23, 2022. Jackey leaves behind his loving wife, Jimmie Sue McGuire; 2 children, Jacob McGuire (Karlee) and Linzy McGuire; 2 stepchildren, Jamie Godfrey (Carrie) and Curtis Godfrey; 5 grandchildren, Andrew Overton, Isabelle McGuire, Alexis Roberts, Landon Godfrey and Jewelianna McGuire; his mother, Kathleen Hammock McGuire; 2 brothers, Jeffrey McGuire (Debra) and Gerald McGuire (Cindy); 2 sisters, Donna Williams (Greg) and Sheila Tipton (Vance) and a host of nieces and nephews. Jackey is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Ray McGuire. A funeral service will be held at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gresh Harbuck officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will follow the services at New Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Jacob McGuire, Cody McGuire, Jeffrey McGuire, Jr., Nick McGuire, Hunter Williams, Bear Tolbert, Danny Green and Jeremy Tucker serving as pallbearers. Jackey will be missed by his dog, Little Gal, she was his sidekick. Even though a failing heart took him away from us, his loving heart left being a beacon of light for all in the community. My Father’s House has many rooms; if that were not so, Would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me.
