Harry E. Lowe

January 20, 1926 - May 8, 2022

Harry Eugene Lowe, 96, died on May 8, 2022 at the Col Robert L Howard Veterans Facility in Pell City, Al. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Clearbranch United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeremy Auvil officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 one hour prior to the service. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Carrie Lowe, two sisters and four brothers, two wives, Peggy Jones Lowe and Jean Woodard Lowe, one son, Ronald Lowe, and two son-in laws, Louis Singley and Stephen Spencer. He is survived by three daughters, Sherry Singley Hall (Robby), Lisa Lowe Spencer, Rita Lowe Dobbs (Joel), five grandchildren, numerous great and great, great grandchildren, and special friend Dorothy Kilpatrick. Harry was a native of Pickens County, Al., served in the Navy during World War II. and then migrated to Birmingham to raised his family. He had a distinguished career selling industrial tools with Black and Decker. He was recognized last year for 70 years as a Shriner. A life-long Methodist he was faithful in attendance and giving. Harry was known for his love of friends and animals and will be remembered fondly for his smile, laughter and love of Alabama Football. Pallbearers will be Joel Dobbs, Tyler Dobbs, Paul Dobbs, Robby Hall, Ed Noles and Scott Nichol. Special thanks to Dr. Simon, nurses and all staff at the Col.
