Catherine Cranmer (Rodberg), age 37, of Pinson, Alabama, went on to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Cathy was a lot of things: a wife, a daughter, a sister, everyone’s friend, but the thing she was more than anything was a mom. Her kids meant everything to her. She is survived by her husband Chris and her 3 children, Andrew – 12, Ayden – 9, and Adam – 4; her parents, Martin and Geraldine Rodberg. Cathy is also survived by her close extended family, her parents, her brother and his family. Cathy enjoyed life. She made friends with people everywhere she went. She enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2456 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. The family will receive friends beginning at 10am with service to follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Catherine Cranmer Memorial fund at Regions Bank, set up to take care of her boys.
