Carolyn Beddingfield Walden

February 23, 1942 - August 23, 2020

Carolyn Beddingfield (Granny) Walden entered heaven’s gate at 8:08 AM on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Louis Walden, her parents Cleveland and Catherine Beddingfield, and daughter Penny Carol. She is survived by her children: Mark Walden (Catherine), Tim Walden, and Cathy Walden (Kevin). Grandchildren: Nick Faucett (Katie), Chris Faucett, Heather Hitechew (Brandon Patterson), Jake Walden (Alaina), Amanda Walden, Jessi Seagroves (Joey), Danielle Semana (Joseph). Great Grandchildren: Maggie Hitechew, Olivia and Madelyn Faucett, Major Williams, Carter Faucett, Keira and Isaac Victorio, Keegan and Sophia Seagroves, Jonathan and Josiah Semana, Jane Walden. Sister Judy Thornton (Beaver), and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee on February 23, 1942. God blessed her with a servant’s heart and she was happiest when caring for others and her family. She loved her family fiercely and never wavered in her faith and determination to help others! We are grateful for her legacy of love and celebrate her life with praise and glory to God. Her daughter, Cathy said it best, “she was so strong and she was our rock, the best mom ever! We love her so much.” She had an amazing work ethic and enjoyed working at Grandview Medical Center until this past spring. She was a long time member of Masseyline Church of God and found much joy in serving in the Ladies Ministry. The Funeral Service directed by Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home will be at Masseyline Church of God on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM with visitation before the service from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Face masks are required and social distancing as well. Pall bearers: Nick Faucett, Chris Faucett, Jake Walden, Eddie Thornton, Mike Walden, and Billy Lollar.
