Candace Hayes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Candace Martin Hayes (Candy) age 63 of Pinson had her first day of eternity with our Lord on June 20th 2022. Although we all know she is happy and in her glory with all the Heavenly Host and preceding family and friends, she will be sorely missed by her family and friends here. Survived by her husband Alton, children Chastity & husband Terry Bonner, Robert Byrd, Jimmy & wife Joanna Hayes, Jesse & wife Becky Hayes. Too Many grandchildren and great grandchildren to list. Brother Larry and Elizabeth Martin, sister Cheri and Don Flanagan. Waiting on her in heaven were parents Robert and Faye Martin. Such a beautiful soul inside and out. Finally at peace. Embraced by God's loving arms. Love and miss you.... till we meet again. She graduated from West Birmingham Christian high-school in 1977, was an Inventory control clerk for Labcorp 1985 -2007 (Presidential Achievement Award), and worked at Prince Place Assisted Living Home from 2009 to 2016 (Alabama State Administration Board licensed). A life celebration and memorial will take place on Saturday July 16th 2022 at 2pm at the Brookside Church of Christ. 3350 Cherry Avenue in Brookside. Fellowship meal to follow downstairs. Everyone welcome, bring your tears and smiles.
