Brian Keith Arrowood

August 31, 1958 - April 20, 2022

Brian Arrowood of Shelby, Alabama went to his heavenly home on April 20, 2022. Brian was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Hubert and Myra Arrowood on August 31, 1958. In his youth, Brian was an athlete and had a special love for the game of baseball. This was a love that Brian passed on to future generations. As he grew older, Brian developed an impeccable work ethic. Throughout adulthood, he worked as a gas fitter and fabricator in manufacturing, and he was a master brick mason. In his spare time, you could find Brian trekking through cotton fields and pastures on his never ending hunt for arrowheads and artifacts. In age, he came to own some of the most intriguing collections. Brian had most any antique one could think of among his “treasures”. Although Brian was a man of few words, there are not enough words to adequately describe this great man. Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Myra Arrowood, and his sister, Luwana Tidwell. Brian is survived by sons, Eric Arrowood (Alyssa) and Brian Noble; sister, Karen Arrowood; grandsons William, Wyatt, Weston, Walker, and Weylyn; and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located at 20 Applewood Drive, Vandiver, Alabama 35176. Friends are invited to share memories and fellowship prior to the service at 4:00 PM. The family of Brian Arrowood wishes to extend a sincere thanks for all of the prayers and kind words.
