Brenda Wengel

April 2, 1957 - November 10, 2021

Brenda was a loving and amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Loved by many, she stayed the same unique, one-of-a-kind person in everything she would do. She was a God-fearing woman of faith. She loved everyone she came in contact with, and always wanted to help in any way she could. To most, she was happy, up-beat, and even a little goofy at times. She could always put a smile on your face. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, she would be more than happy to be that shoulder for you. If you needed help, she would do anything she was capable of doing to help you. All in all, she was an incredible person. A true servant, willing to do whatever she could to help those in need. She will be missed, but she will always be loved by those of us whose hearts she touched. We pray that we can continue to show others the same level of love, kindness, and grace that she did every single day. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Oberia Ratlif. She is survived by her husband, Billy Wengel; her daughter, Kristen (Jerrod) Colvin; her father, Bruce Ratliff; Her brother, Rodney (Debby) Ratliff; her niece, Gretchen (Wes) Bowers; her nephew, Whit (Ambra) Ratliff and their children, Gavin and Jax and her nephew, Wes Ratliff. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 11 am until 1 pm at CrossPoint Baptist Church Followed by the funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Dr. Ryan Whitley officiating.
