Mr. Billy Ray Campbell, 82, passed away on May 13, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Campbell; sons, Billy Ray Campbell, Jr. and David Ray Campbell; father, William Joshua Campbell; mother, Lucille Edwards Campbell; grandson, Billy Ray Campbell, III; and siblings, David Eugene Campbell and Arvin Houston Campbell. He is survived by his sons, David Lee Campbell and Timothy Joel Campbell; daughters, Donna Marie Lowrey, Kathy Darlene Pate, Bethia Ann Hendon, and Rachel Elaine Campbell; grandchildren, David Keith Lowrey, Nathan Lowrey, Brandon Lowrey, Daniel Pate, Roger Dale Campbell, Jr., Joshua Pate, Mathew Campbell, David Lee Campbell, Jr., Brandon Campbell, Christopher Campbell, Joseph Duplantier, Jada Nicole Duplantier, Kayla Marie Campbell, Brittney Ann Garrison, Jessica Campbell, Amy Pate Chambers, and Rebecca Pate Williams; great-grandchildren, Daylin Lowrey, Malachi Singleton, Elijah Singleton, Cade Knight, Carly Chambers, Xander Garrison, Bradley Campbell, Raelyn Campbell, Amora Garrison, Jadlyn Morgan, Evelyn Morgan, Olivia Campbell, Caleb Campbell, and Cooper Campbell; and siblings, Dorothy Elaine Campbell, Bonita Gale, Barbara Faye Howard, Roger Dale Campbell, and Linda Sue Weber. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL. The funeral service will begin from the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Cahaba Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
