Billy Layfield, age 52, of Ashville, Alabama gone but not forgotten on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was employed with Southgate Fence Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Layfield; nephew, Brandon Layfield. He is surived by his mother, Loretta Layfield; sisters, Katie Layfield and Lynn Layfield; brother, Robert Layfield, two nephews, Jody and Russell Brown; girlfriend, Debbie McGowan and several cousins and friends. Graveside service will be on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery in Pinson, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home.
